The Time's video section 10 questions can turn out to be an invaluable source of listening material for us. In this section, a well-known person or celebrity like Michelle Williams, Hilary Swank, Jeff Bridges, Emma Watson, Stephen Hawking, Danielle Steel, Condoleezza Rice and many more is asked 10 questions that Time readers have previously sent to the magazine. The video interviews take about 5-6 minutes, which is the right duration for us.
Self-study activity:
Get together with an English speaking friend or relative and choose a celebrity of your liking. Before watching the video, talk about what you know about this person and think of some questions you would like to ask him or her. Then watch the video and check with the questions displayed on screen.
You can also help each other with comprehension by commenting on what you understood in the interviews.
